Man is hunted over fraud offences

AN Oldham man is being hunted by police over fraud offences totalling more than £10,000.
Officers are seeking the public’s help to trace Barry Hayward (36), formally of Cairnwell Road, Chadderton, in connection with incidents across the country.
He has been wanted by Lancashire Police since March in connection with the fraudulent purchase of £4,000 worth of computer equipment from an electrical shop in Garstang, Lancashire.
Police also want to speak to him about a second fraud in March when computer products were advertised for sale on a website and an order to the value of £680 was taken and not delivered.
The company was registered to an address on the Creamery Industrial estate, Barnacre, in Preston.
Earlier, in November, 2010, 70 laptop computers worth £6,500 were purchased from a company in Pilling but no payment made.
Hayward also uses the names Jamie Desouza and Barry David Heywood and has connections to Lancashire, Manchester and Derbyshire. He is known to drive a silver Vauxhall Astra.
Greater Manchester police also want to speak to him about a breach of a court order and fraud in August, as well as a serious assault in March.
Officers from Derbyshire police wish to speak to him in connection with further fraud offences.
