Lake girl’s death not suspicious

THE death of a former Oldham College student whose body discovered at a popular beauty spot is not believed to be suspicious.
Chamman Nisa Shah (21) was found on the shore of Hollingworth lake, Littleborough, on Saturday night.
Police were called to scene shortly before 7.45pm following reports a body had been spotted.
Chamman, who lived in Rochdale, has studied media at Oldham College.
An inquest is due to be open and adjourned within the next few days. Officers continue to investigate her death.
