OLDHAM actor Antony Cotton fell at the final hurdle in ITV show “I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here!”
The Corrie star, who plays barman and knicker stitcher Sean Tully, was booted out of the jungle on the show’s penultimate day.
The 36–year–old hugged the other contestants when he was told his bid to reach the final had failed.
He said: “I’m gutted but I did what I could do. I’m amazed that I lasted that long.”
Despite being a fan of the show, the Oldham Theatre Workshop actor said it was impossible to prepare for being in the jungle, which was “emotional and exciting”.
Dougie Poynter, bass player of pop band McFly, was crowned king of the jungle, beating new–found friend Mark Wright of “The Only Way Is Essex” in the I’m A Celebrity final.
