That’s an Asda slice
Date published: 07 December 2011
TWO of Asda’s Oldham stores have launched a great cash giveaway to local charities and organisations.
The Huddersfield Road and Hollins Road branches are inviting organisations to apply for a slice of Asda Foundation money, which provides assistance to community projects and groups.
Area manager Andy Holmes said: “We’re keen to help worthwhile causes in the local area. The stores have been open for a few months now and we were thinking of a way in which we could give something back.
“We want to hear from organisations and individuals who can demonstrate how they are helping locally and why they need our help. I’m sure it will be a tough task deciding which charities we are able to support.”
Submit details to either store about your community work and project or organisation, saying how much you require and why you should receive help. The deadline is December 16
