Team transforms centre

A Princes Trust team has spent two weeks revitalising the New Visions and Shaw and District Disabled Association centre and grounds in Harper Square.
As well as clearing trees and bushes to create a vegetable patch, volunteers painted the centre.
The team held several fundraising events to raise money to buy everything they needed for the makeover.
Team leader Jo Shaw said: “These young people have worked extremely hard to raise the money needed to pay for all the materials for the project. They’ve worked in all kinds of weather and have always been motivated.”
New Visions is operated by the charity the Together Trust. For further information visit the website at www.togethertrust.org.uk.
