Heating boss warms to telly stardom

Taking a bow . . . Richard star of the small silver screen

SADDLEWORTH businessman Richard Perrins is back on the box as a star of Worcester Bosch Group’s latest series of TV ads.

Richard, from Grotton, returns to our screens for a second year, after being chosen by the country’s leading boiler manufacturer in recognition of his continued success - and outgoing personality.

Richard works in the family business, Lawrence Perrins and Sons in Oldham Road, Springhead, and has been in the heating and plumbing industry since he started his career.

Perrins specialises in central heating, renewable and gas products and has worked closely with Worcester for a number of years.

Richard said: “It is such a brilliant experience and so different to my day job. It’s great to get an insight into how adverts are created. It really does make you appreciate how much work goes into television. I tune in every week to see if my advert comes on — it’s quite exciting and my family can’t wait.”
