Props with mops win day at rugby club

TEAM spirit was on display at Oldham Rugby Union Club as players pulled together to help repair the Manor Park clubhouse.
Members were stunned to find the the building’s roof had been torn off during ferocious gales that blasted the borough on Thursday.
It was all hands on deck on Friday though as players picked up their mops and buckets.
But the lads had a tough battle on their hands as they battled a downpour which saw water leak through a temporary tarpaulin.
It resulted in the first team’s fixture against Trafford MV being called off on Saturday.
The damage was all the more heartbreaking as the clubhouse had only recently been refurbished.
