A TRIO of Daves saddled up to take part in a 300-mile charity bike ride — and raised more than £1,600.
Dave Garforth, Dave Ogden and Dave Spence — also known as the Pennine Pedallers — from Diodes Zetex Semiconductors, in Chadderton, completed a cycle ride from Berwick upon Tweed on the Scottish border to Oldham between May 19 and 22.
Along with their support man, also a Dave - Dave Ogden senior - the cyclists spent four days in the saddle, battling bad weather and bumpy terrain.
Their £1,674 has now been presented to cancer charity Macmillan representative, er, Dave Quarmby...
