NIGHT on the town for Suranne Jones (right) and Lesley Sharp.
FORMER “Coronation Street” favourite Suranne Jones was back in Oldham for a pre-Christmas night out this week.
But the Chadderton actress couldn’t let her hair down and relax — she was still at work, filming scenes for the new series of popular ITV drama “Scott and Bailey” near the Greaves Arms in Oldham town centre.
The former North Chadderton pupil who trained at Oldham Theatre Workshop, is best known for her role as Karen McDonald on the cobbles of Weatherfield.
Here, she stars as a Manchester detective with sidekick Lesley Sharp in the eight-episode series due to be aired on ITV1 next year.
