SUPER-SLIMMER Sam Harper is appearing in a new pop video-style advert with singer and “Strictly Come Dancing” judge Alesha Dixon.
The 24-year-old, from Moorside, who lost a staggering eight stone, is among 180 WeightWatchers members in the £28million campaign created by top advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi.
They take it in turns to lip-synch to the song “Do It Our Way” which includes lyrics penned from their own stories.
The song from the advert, which launches on New Year’s Day, will be available to download from iTunes with 25p from each sale going to the Tommy’s charity which funds research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
Sam weighed a hefty 18st 11lb before starting the WeightWatchers Pro-Points Plan.
She said: “It wasn’t until my GP warned that my BMI was high that I ever considered losing weight.
“A friend had already joined WeightWatchers. I couldn’t believe she was still enjoying nights out and the odd chippy treat while losing weight, so I gave it a try. My weight loss has not only given me a new-found confidence and great sense of achievement, it’s taught me that I can do so much more than I thought was possible.”
