A serial bigamist who seduced a Fitton Hill man into a sham marriage has appeared in court for obtaining drugs under her seventh husband’s name.
Emily Horne — now known as Max Accostes Quiberberon — admitted duping a GP into giving her sleeping pills at Yeovil Magistrates’ Court on December 23.
After making an appointment for her seventh husband, Craig Hadwin ,at the surgery in Somerset, Horne (33) turned up in men’s clothing and cropped haircut.
Horne admitted two charges of fraud to obtain prescription drugs and asked for three similar offences to be taken into account. Horne has been bailed to appear at Taunton Crown Court on January 20 for sentencing.
Horne married Ashley Baker at Chadderton Town Hall in September, 2007. In 2009 the former glamour model was spared jail when a Manchester judge handed out a 10-month suspended sentence for her bigamous marriage to Mr Baker.
Horne, from the West Midlands, who changed her name on marriage certificates to avoid detection, had married four men by the age of 23. The former adult actress, who has bipolar disorder, wed soldier Paul Rigby in York in 1996, left him to marry banker Sean Cunningham in Leeds in 1999 and moved on to website designer Chris Barrett for a wedding in Leeds in 2000. She was cautioned for two offences of bigamy in 2001.
Horne met IT worker Stuart Allen last year and agreed to marry him but he found out she had flown to the US and illegally married policeman Fred Miller — her sixth husband — whom she met online.
