Cottoning on to the Big T-Break
Date published: 19 January 2012
Coronation Street star and former Oldham Theatre Workshop actor Antony Cotton has backed an appeal inviting people to hold fundraising tea breaks to raise money for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
The TV star, who plays Sean Tully on the ITV1 soap, is supporting the Big T–Break event on February 24, which is being organised by the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
People who sign up to have a brew in support of the hospital will also be in with a chance of winning a cuppa with one of the stars of the long–running Manchester soap.
Antony, who took part in the recent series of “I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!”, said: “It has been absolutely fantastic meeting the remarkable children and their families. I hope lots of people sign up to take part. You never know, they may find themselves drinking tea with me.”
