Rape charge

A 26-year-old man charged with raping a 75-year-old woman in Oldham appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday.
Wesley Wilson, of Naze Court, Coldhurst, was remanded in custody for a plea and directions hearing on April 3. It follows an incident on January 7 in which an elderly woman was attacked in her own home in Coldhurst.
