AN interesting look: six-times snooker world champion Steve Davis with student Teagan Greenhalgh.
IT doesn’t get more hair-raising than winning six snooker world championships.
But trainee hairdressers in Oldham were in for a tough challenge when they were faced with the man who has done just that.
Steve Davis agreed to have what is left of his barnet washed and styled when he visited North Lancs Training Group, Queen Street.
The Nugget was there to officially launch the refurbished hair salon and kitchen used by students.
The group is one of the country’s largest training providers and offers apprenticeships in a range of professions, pre-apprenticeship courses for 16 to 18-year-olds, commercial training and courses for the unemployed.
The visit took place during National Apprenticeship Week.
