Bath time!
CUSTARD was served cold and runny for a bunch of wacky fundraisers at a fun day.
The sweet and not-so-sticky stuff was poured by the bucketload over the heads of up to a dozen people, including Dr Kershaw’s Hospice appeals manager Lisa Pearson.
They braved the chilly weather to step into the custard bath for the dunking, helping to raise hundreds of pounds for the hospice.
Those watching at the Dog and Partridge pub, Royton, were also entertained by a local band.
Lisa said: “I was willing up until moments before I got in the bath and then I thought I must be mad.
“The custard was freezing and it was already a bitter day.”
