Dark blue: Booth Street: an under-utilised commercial site — which includes a number of vacant buildings — adjacent to Oldham College and King Street Metrolink.
Red: Western Gateway: opportunities to develop education, technology, commercial or leisure facilities on land which currently houses vacant buildings, such as Rileys Snooker Hall. The land includes Oldham
Sixth Form College, Mecca Bingo and St Patrick’s Church.
Dark green: Retail core and town hall: the Grade II-listed town hall which requires refurbishment and could be used for leisure, retail or commercial purposes.

Dark Pink: Alexandra Retail Park: This mostly-vacant site located at the south of Oldham Way is seen as key development spot, with the view to improve pedestrian and vehicle access.
