A ROYTON actress may feel a cold shudder during her next role.
Julie Brown, who appeared in the 2009 Ken Loach film “Looking for Eric”, has agreed to have beans poured over her while she sits in a bath full of them!
The event, organised by local fundraiser Rob Cottrill and Jayne Birchall, landlady of Royton’s Marston Tavern, takes place on April 22.
There will be performances by local artists, karaoke and a raffle.
Cash raised will go to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and the newly-founded Scott Ward Memorial Fund.
The legacy of Scott, aged 20, from Moston, who died in November, 2010, is being kept alive by his mum, Alison Ganson, who set up the charity.
Scott suffered a rare genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), where the skin is so fragile that it blisters and peels off at the slightest touch.
