CATHOLIC parishes and schools in the region will be trekking around Hollingworth Lake to raise money for Catholic aid agency CAFOD’s Lenten appeal.
Thousands of CAFOD supporters across England and Wales are taking part in water-themed fundraising walks this Lent, to show their solidarity with the millions of people throughout the world who have to journey miles every day to get access to clean water and sanitation.
To take part in the 3.5km walk around Hollingworth Lake, meet at the Visitor Centre at 2pm on Sunday. There will be a suggested donation of £5 per adult and £10 per family. For further information Mr Slater on 01457 873490 bernie-slater@live.co.uk
