Dad Clint’s praise

OLDHAM music star and new dad Clint Boon has praised the staff at St Mary’s Hospital, in Manchester, after his sixth child arrived prematurely

The Inspiral Carpets organist was not expecting his newborn until after the band’s UK tour — but Luna Bliss decided to arrive 13 weeks early.

Speaking after the band’s “homecoming” gig on Saturday, Clint said: “Mrs Boon and Luna Bliss are doing well and we’re overjoyed they are in good hands.”
