MORE than half a million listeners will hear radio adverts about the dangers of grass fires made by pupils from two Oldham high schools.
Children from Oldham Academy North and Hathershaw College will hit the airwaves on Key 103 during Easter.
Their adverts are the culmination of a project with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) after data showed that the borough was a hotspot for grass fires.
Pupils came up with their ideas and scripts when the Key 103 media bus rolled up to both schools. They then visited the Manchester radio station.
