Home energy help
Date published: 03 April 2012
FREE energy help is available for tenants of housing associations Regenda and Great Places in Oldham.
Locally-trained energy advisers from the Groundwork Oldham & Rochdale charity are on hand to help residents live in warmer homes and save money. The project is designed to tackle fuel poverty.
Advisers are visiting homes in Oldham to conduct energy surveys and provide support. One way they can help is to refer residents to organisations installing free energy-efficiency measures.
Advisers can also provide simple advice on ways to save energy and money at home, information on how much residents can save by installing energy-saving measures and the health implications of living in a cold house.
Contact David Malsom at Groundwork on 0161-624 1444 to arrange a visit.
