Homes back on rental market
Date published: 03 April 2012
A NEW letting agency service is aiming to improve access to the private rented sector and bring empty private homes into use.
Aksa Homes, part of the New Charter Housing Trust Group, is developing Homes for All with the backing of Oldham Council.
Aksa says it is not just Oldham where there is a housing problem — there is a growing demand for private rented property throughout the country.
Empty homes are a blot on the landscape and a wasted resource, so Homes for All aims to bring long-term empty properties back into use by targeting owners to use the new service to find them a tenant or lease their property for Aksa to let and manage for the lease period of two to seven years.
Aksa will soon be holding a Homes for All presentation. To register to attend, contact Aksa on 0161-620 2992 or email socialletttingandbond@aksahomes.co.uk
