Librarian Sue Hampson retires from Oldham College library after 37 years service.
OLDHAM College library assistant Sue Hampson has checked out for the last time.
The 61-year-old has retired after 37 years as a well-known face at the Rochdale Road college.
Sue worked at Oldham Library for two years after leaving Royton and Crompton School and was then a member of the civilian office staff at Oldham Police Station.
She joined Oldham College in 1974 when it was known as the Tech and said: “I have liked working with so many different people, seeing so many students come and go and succeed.”
