CROSS-PARTY support was pledged to the Northern Hub scheme that will see £500million invested into rail services in the North of England.
The council accepted a note of caution in a bid to safeguard and improve services in the borough. Labour councillors said the significant spend would be crucial to economic growth as councillors agreed to write to the Secretary of State to express support.
