ALL aboard: theatre students take their seats for “Tunnel Visions”
OLDHAM Coliseum’s youth groups are preparing to whisk their audience back in time.
DigiLAB and Theatre LAB have worked in collaboration with award-winning writer Rob Johnson and innovative design team Imitating The Dog to create a participatory performance called “Tunnel Visions”.
The unique production will transform an atmospheric, undeveloped mill space using new technologies and clever scripts.
Audiences will take a seat on board a train carriage and travel around the space, encountering everything from dinosaurs to Suffragettes and sci-fi.
Writer Rob Johnston recently won the King’s Cross Award for New Writing.
Imitating The Dog previously collaborated with the Coliseum on critically-acclaimed “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, which is currently touring the country.
Performances take place at Earl Mill Arts Centre, off Ashton Road, in 30-minute slots.
Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance: info at www.coliseum.org.uk.
