AN OLDHAM duo performed a bald move in aid of disabled family and friends on a night of fun.
Locals said “hair you go” with cerebral palsy sufferer Andrea Walkden having her head shaved in support of friend Tracy Marinelli, who is fighting breast cancer.
Tracy (49), of Browfield Way, Oldham, who also suffers with MS and diabetes, said: “The place was packed out and it was lovely to see the support for the group. Andrea and Simon were both really brave.”
Also, Simon Langford faced the waxing of his life, as strips of hair were ripped from his leg, to raise money for the struggling Shaw and District Disabled Association.
The event on Saturday evening, at the North Star Inn, High Crompton, is expected to have raised at least £1,200 for the 45-year-old group.
