OLDHAM Beer Festival was back with a fizz after a rent wrangle kept it out of the Queen Elizabeth Hall for two years.
Around 1,000 real ale lovers turned out for the two-day festival, which began on Friday.
More than 60 real ales and ciders were on offer, and chief organiser Peter Buckley, from CAMRA, was celebrating its success.
He said: “It was very, very busy and went very well both on Friday and Saturday. We sold out of most of the beer.
“It was the first Oldham Beer Festival we have had since 2009, and we were happy for it to be back and we got positive feedback from all the punters.”
