DRUGS and a sawn-off shotgun were seized by police after four people were arrested in a crackdown on organised crime.
Officers raided two houses in Bath Street, Werneth, in the early hours of Wednesday.
At the first house police recovered heroin, stolen clothing and a sawn-off shotgun. A 45-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were arrested and later bailed.
At the second property, £10,000 was seized, as was a small amount of cannabis and illegal tobacco.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money-laundering and drug-possession and was also bailed.
A further warrant was executed at a shop in Lincoln Street, where £3,000 was recovered and a 24-year-old man arrested. He was detained by the UK Border Agency.
