WANTED: CCTV image of the man police want to talk to
POLICE have released a CCTV image of the man they want to quiz after a woman suffered a fractured cheekbone when she was punched in a Royton bar.
The 36-year-old became embroiled in a row with a man at Oddies bar on Union Street, which resulted in him throwing his drink at her.
She threw her own drink and he punched her.
The man fled, leaving her with a fractured cheekbone and an eye wound.
The man is about 5ft 7in to 6ft tall, of medium build and in his early to mid-20s.
He had short brown hair and was wearing a beige or grey jumper with dark jeans. The incident happened at about 12.15am on February 5 — but police only released the image today.
Anyone with information should call police on 0161-856 8965 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
