Club appeals for volunteers to spruce up ground
OLDHAM Athletic are on the lookout for volunteers to give Boundary Park a summer makeover.
The club has joined forces with Trust Oldham and Oldham Athletic Community Trust to carry out general repairs and improve facilities at the ground.
Latics staff will also be involved in the spring clean — from the board of directors to the management team.
Richard Attwood, from Trust Oldham, added: “This is a project every fan, no matter what their skills, can become involved in. At every game, fans mention how things could be better and this is our chance to do that.
Matt Pickford, the head of the Oldham Athletic Community Trust, said: “Grab a paintbrush, a drill, a screwdriver and help us reinforce the message that Boundary Park is the home of the beautiful game in the town and a jewel in Oldham’s crown.”
