Appeal after dogs snatched from farm
Date published: 18 May 2012
A FAMILY has been left heartbroken after three dogs were snatched from their farm.
The three pets disappeared while playing on land at Ramsclough Farm, Denshaw.
The distraught owners have tirelessly searched the area, pinned up posters and visited the animal shelters, but it has resulted in no success.
They are appealing to Chronicle readers to contact them with any information about Alfie (3), a white Jack Russell; his daughter Sasha (1), a black Jack Russell, and Angus (1), a Wauzer (a mini Schnauzer and Westie crossbreed).
Laurie Phethean, owner of Alfie, and daughter of Janice Phethean, who owns the other two missing canines, said: “We have searched well into the night and in the early hours of the morning — we just want them home.”
The Oldham dog warden is investigating the incident, which took place on Tuesday. Call 01457-597 597 with information.
