Death-driving charge
Date published: 29 May 2012
A Chadderton man accused of causing death by dangerous driving, will have his case heard at crown court.
Nigel Leslie Rigby (51), of Sycamore Avenue, will attend Manchester’s Minshull Street in June, following a first hearing before Oldham magistrates on Friday.
The charge follows the death of Anna Horsfall (31), knocked down by a car at the junction of Spencer Street and Old Lane, Chadderton on December 9, 2010.
Miss Horsfall was taken to hospital but died the following day.
