Delivery is OK for OL

OLDHAM’S OL postcode is receiving some of the best quality postal services from Royal Mail in the UK, it is claimed.
New research says the OL area beat the annual first class mail target in 2011-12, with 94.2 per cent of mail arriving next day — above the target of 93 per cent and well ahead of the minimum standard of 91.5 per cent. The results are in the Royal Mail quality of service report.
The figures come despite three Oldham postmen being sentenced this year for stealing post under surveillance within the 2011-2012 financial year. One had stashed 34,000 letters and packages.
