Plastic fantastic!
ECO-FASHION was paraded down the catwalk by environmental-conscious students from Oldham College.
They say all fashion is recycled — and took the notion literally to put on an event with a worthy message. Students studying design created the outfits using recycled materials such as plastic bags and newspapers.
Photography students snapped smiling guests as they arrived while drama students served canapés and green cocktails. Tables had recycled-materials sculptures and dancers modelled the outfits designed and created by the fashion students.
Creative arts director Jude Fitton said: “The whole evening was an incredible success and one which clearly demonstrates the absolute dedication of both staff and students.”
