Murder charge: man in court

A MAN charged with murdering a 38-year-old woman in her Glodwick home was due to appear at Manchester Crown Court today.
Foyez Ahmed (31) is the brother-in-law of the victim Razu Khanum. He appeared before magistrates yesterday. Both the victim and the accused lived in Matthew Close.
The woman was found with head injuries and her throat slashed by emergency services at around 10.30am on Friday.
