Registering perfection

OASIS Academy Oldham pupil Andrew MacDonald is 11 years not out after chalking up a perfect school attendance record.
On top of not missing a single day of lessons at Yew Tree Primary School, Chadderton, Andrew, now 16, has kept up his remarkable 100 per cent record at secondary school.
Attendance officer Jo Lindsay, from Oasis Academy Oldham, said: “We are all extremely proud of him.”
Andrew sits his final GCSE examination next week.
