ALL smiles: Eileen Wild celebrates her 101st birthday
A centenarian celebrated her birthday with a visit from the mayor.
Eileen Wild turned 101 on Sunday and yesterday welcomed a visit from Councillor Olwen Chadderton and the choir from Watersheddings School to make the day especially memorable.
Born in Werneth, Eileen has lived locally her entire life.
She celebrated the big day at Avonleigh Residential Home, where she now lives, with sandwiches, cake and tea, before a performance from the Watersheddings School choir.
