THOUSANDS of partygoers are expected to descend on Alexandra Park for Oldham’s biggest-ever Mega Mela.
Pakistani superstar Abrar Ul Haq will fly in especially to headline the festival on July 8.
The event is the largest day of celebration of South Asian arts and culture in the North of England.
Music, dance, food and traditional arts and crafts bring the sights, sounds and spicy aromas of South Asia to Alexandra Park.
The Mela, organised by the Voluntary Youth organisation Mega Mela Group, has this year been backed by headline sponsor Lebara Mobile Communications.
