OLDHAM actress Shobna Gulati has been named top of the bottoms.

The 45 year old, best known as Sunita Alahan in ITV soap “Coronation Street” scooped the Rear of the Year award after winning a public vote.

The former Hulme Grammar School pupil said she had to thank her mother for her prize–winning asset, adding: “I am really honoured and flattered to be a winner.

TV star John Barrowman - Captain Jack Harkness in “Torchwood” and “Doctor Who” won the men’s award.
