OLDHAM College student Louis Bollard hopes to become National Entrepreneur of the Year
Oldham College student Louis Bollard is hoping to clean up with his organic laundry soap business — and win the use of a car for a year.
The 19 year old is one of six finalists pitching their business ideas to Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones for the title National Entrepreneur of the Year.
The award is run by Jones’s Enterprise Academy and the judges include leading business and education figures.
Louis attends the enterprise academy at Oldham College — one of 37 in the country — and set up Soap Shells because a family member is allergic to washing powder.
The winner will be announced on July 19, during the academy graduation ceremony.
The winner will be one of the first people in the UK to drive a new low-emission Alfa Romeo MiTo saloon, and will also represent the academy as an ambassador.
