A TERRIFIED bar owner says he’s lucky to be alive after being attacked and robbed by masked thugs.
Failsworth father-of-three Ajay Javer was dragged from his van as he left Vibe in Bardsley in the early hours of Sunday.
He was beaten with bricks and branches by three balaclava-clad raiders, who took the £6,500 on him from his club, Vibe in Ashton Road, Bardsley.
Mr Javer was so traumatised he is considering quitting the business. He has offered a £1,500 reward for the apture of the trio.
He said: “They seemed more determined to hurt me than take the money, they just didn’t stopped beating me, even once they’d got the cash.
“I fought back but that was probably the worst thing I could have done. I thought they were going to kill me.
“I have a family to support but I now feel too scared to go back to the bar. This isn’t going to go away easily, it was so horrific. This could finish my business.”
