More arrests in business raids swoop

POLICE have made three more arrests following a series of dramatic raids across Oldham.
Officers swooped on homes and businesses as part of Operation Caminada, which tackle’s the borough’s organised crime.
Earlier this week officers arrested three men and seized £35,000 in cash and a white Range Rover in Chadderton and Hollinwood.
On Tuesday and Wednesday they swooped on homes in Werneth and Coppice and arrested two men (33 and 38) on drugs charges.
Operation Caminada was launched in November and all areas of suspected local criminals’ lives to allow various agencies use their powers to make criminal life harder. Information from the public has also been used.
