Hospital parking in better health
Date published: 24 July 2012
NEW arrangements to improve car parking and security for patients and visitors at the Royal Oldham Hospital have come into force.
With parking now split into separate areas for patients, visitors and staff, new-look colour-coded signs and site maps have been installed with patient and visitor parking much closer to the hospital’s main entrances and clinic.
The creation of additional spaces is also planned, though it is not yet known exactly how many there will be.
Pennine Acute Hospitals Trust has extended its free pick up/drop off zone period for all users for up to 30 minutes and improved its disabled parking
