RSPCA staff are appealing for the safe return of a 15 week old puppy stolen from the Rhodes Bank centre yesterday.
Two girls sneaked around the side of the building at lunchtime and snatched cross-Staffordshire terrier Heather, who was in a paddock with three of her siblings.
Staff noticed Heather was missing and checked the CCTV footage —which showed the girls walking away with the puppy. Though the girls were later arrested, they had already sold the pup to someone else.
RSPCA receptionist Lindsay Lucisano said: “We are very concerned about Heather. We need to make sure she is safe and being treated properly.”
Anyone with any information can call the RSPCA in Rhodes Bank on 0161 284 6032.
