Gallery power blackout

A THREE-DAY power cut forced Oldham Art Gallery and its cafe tp close this week
It was the second power issue the gallery and library has faced in recent weeks.
The library’s Internet users were cut off for several days last week when Metrolink workers cut a fibre optic cable.
Oldham Council staff worked to repair the latest problem throughout Wednesday and yesterday — but the power had still not been restored this morning.
It is thought to have been caused by a problem on the gallery circuits.
The library and Lifelong Learning Centre were unaffected,
