Man,41, held in stabbing inquiry

Police were today continuing to question a man after a stabbing in Abbeyhills on Thursday night.

Officers were called to Cottage Gardens at 11.45pm after reports a man had been injured.

Officers found a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to an arm and hand. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 41-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody
