OLDHAM Council’s approach to housing has earned the local authority a prestigious award.
Oldham overcame competition from five other councils to win the Strategic Local Authority of the Year prize at this year’s UK Housing Awards.
It was praised for bringing more families into homes and bringing empty homes up to standard and back into use.
