Stand plans on display

LATICS fans will get the chance to see plans for a new 3,000-seat three-tier stand for the first time at a public consultation next week.
The doors of the sponsors’ lounge at Boundary Park will be thrown open on Wednesday, August 8, as the design for the structure on the empty Broadway side of the ground — which is set to include offices, a gym, conferencing facilities and retail units — goes on view for the first time.
Athletic chairman Simon Corney has said the building of the stand is vital in helping to mitigate crippling financial losses.
