Jury out in Nellie trial

THE jury has retired to consider its verdict on a man accused of murdering Shaw pensioner Nellie Geraghty.
Former drug addict Mark Royle (37), of no fixed address, denies charges of murder, manslaughter and robbery.
The jury at Manchester Crown Court went out yesterday and will continue deliberations today.
