Date published: 10 August 2012
LOCAL anglers have raised £800 to help the family of gas-blast victim Jamie Heaton.
An angling match was held in memory of the tot at Alexandra Park, organised by Darren Webb, cousin of Jamie’s dad, Kenny.
The match involved 30 local fishermen, with prize money of £150.
Of the £800, £450 came from ticket sales and the rest from donations.
